You CAN make the program display in a single "window", but the video performance
will suffer slightly. Go to your "res" folder under your installation folder and
open the USER.INI file. Look for the "App" section and add the line:

windowed=1

Note that this is NOT the intended behavior of the program, but it should work
fine. However, what you are seeing is NOT the monitor's power going on and off;
the program is simply switching resolutions to the 1024x768 mode that it
requires.

As for the engine, I did say that it was going to be copy protected. I have a
feeling that some persistent user (perhaps yourself) will be able to figure out
a way around the engine's protection, but it will STILL require the CD at all
times.
