So extend if: Captured a piece on the same square that another piece was just captured. The captured pieces are both of the same 'value' (opposite colours). Even then, in GLC, I only extend 0.75 for this. I'm sure that there are programs that use other criteria, or vary the extension amount, but I don't know the details. Cheers, Tim.
