Yes, I use fractional ply's as well, although I actually don't use them, I just built them in ready for use when I actually know when to extend. About how much strength increase would be expected from check extensions, and also, what do I do about perpi's? I don't want it to get into say...a queen endgame, where there are soooo many checks to extend, should I limit my extensions to 'n' ply, and if so, what should the value of n be aprox? thanks for all the help peoples!!
