I'm totally against copy protection that is invasive, and this type of protection scheme is generally outdated and makes it completely aggravating for laptop users. Even a CD Refresh is annoying, but bearable. Can't there be some type of activation scheme? Or better yet a combination of the two-- must have CD in drive unless you activate :) The thing is, it doesn't even stop piracy -- those with high end burners can copy any protected disc and cracks (like Nonyz's anti-cd) simply override those CD checks. Reminds me of Jake Johannsen's comedy bit about locking his car... why bother? He's the only one who can't get in without the keys. OK, end of rant. Brian
