The 95% of the players are not with equal strength. I guess that part of them may often miss a capture of the opponent in the next ply and part of them may do it less often when another part will never or almost never miss a simple capture in the next ply and only miss often some things that are slightly more complicated like a fork or winning a piece thanks to a pin or thanks to a threat that the piece cannot escape.
