You can get a state of the art chess program if you buy a PalmOS computer (Palm,
Sony, Handspring...).
PalmOS devices like the Tungsten-C are now using a 400MHz ARM processor.
PocketPC devices do not have a faster processor.
On PalmOS there is Chess Tiger available (http://www.chesstiger.com) as well as
ChessGenius.
