That doesn't seem to hold true any more. More like subtract 200, but I don't know of anyone that has tried to fit a curve to either set of data as a function of the other set. Ken Sloan here at UAB did this for FIDE to USCF a couple of years ago, but that was easier as there are _plenty_ of players in both systems to anchor the two together loosely. SSDF doesn't have such an option except for _rare_ cases. IE Crafty is both a USCF and SSDF member, but it doesn't play much in USCF to keep its rating accurate.
