Hi CCC I no longer have the problems that I had previously running rebel10 on my cyrix pent 120, which was running the benchmark test and the show analysis and info functions. Previously the program would immediately crash whenever I selected info on, or ran the bench test. It had been suggested in rgcc that perhaps the cyrix chip was responsible for my problems, I am not sure this is true because I replaced my cyrix 120 with a cyrix 233 and now I have absolutely no problems at all running rebel, in fact it is a dream program!! No doubt rebel 10 is the very strongest positional and endgame chessplayer in existence, or atleast equal to hiarcs6. I am wondering if it was the particular cyrix chip instead of the general cyrix which was my program. Any way I am glad I got my problem solved and I am grateful for the support that I got here at ccc from several members who privately offered solutions.
