Does anybody know how to play Rebel 12 (DOS) on one PC against a Winboard/Arena/Chessmaster engine on another PC? For other engines I can load the Winboard232c "engine" on each PC and use a null modem cable e.g. PC1 with Cm8000 v Winboard232c, PC2 with Winboard232c v Ruffian results in a Cm8000 v Ruffian game. This doesn't seem to work with Rebel's Auto player. Or is there any update on the Rebel12 Winboard engine? And does anybody know why Rebel 12 DOS apprears to be free while the Windows version is commercial? TIA, Graham
