1) Run a partition manager on your HD, i.e.: fdisk 2) Locate for garbage-OS like Windows 3.x,9x,Me,2000,XP,2003... 3) Delete the partition containing such OS 4) Create Linux partitions and install your chosen Linux distro 5) Run Linux :-)) The *only* issue now is that there's not so many chess softwares to choose to run with your new installed OS, but maybe C.
