For blitz games, the optimum hash depends on the CPU of your computer. For example in my old PIII 733 MHZ the optimum is 16Mo (i have only 64Mo of Memory) In a powerful PIV 2400MHz with 512Mo of RAM, the optimum seems to be 64Mo. So u see that it depends on your CPU but also of your RAM!!
