i'm looking for a good book on pocket PC / windows CE programming. i have this
checkers program that i'd like to move to the pocket PC, the engine is basically
ansi C, the interface is for windows, written in C using the win32 API (no MFC
or other stuff). i also have microsoft's embedded visual tools and would like to
use those.

does anyone have any suggestions for a pocket PC beginner?

related question: should i also consider the palm? currently i believe that it
would be much easier for the pocket PC because of the close relationship to my
current development environment (MS visual studio, win32). correct?

cheers
  martin
