Just a thought. the problem is not offering draws... it is accepting draws. If you can't do both, then winboard matches will be flawed as you suggest... Crafty's been offering draws for a couple of years, and has been able to accept/decline them for about a year... But "it takes two to tango"... and most don't do both. In fact, I don't know exactly what xboard/winboard does with adraw offer... I'll have to check. On ICC it works perfectly... but maybe not in match mode?
