I have never found anything useful to do with floating-point operations, neither in chess software nor in other programs. Most of the CCC readers are more likely to be interested in integer performance, and I'm afraid the G5 will not be very impressive there. I hope I am wrong, though. My next computer will almost certainly be a G5. Tord
