If you eliminate all loosing captures , then I dont see how you can play a QxP
that will be answered by a PxQ ! Atleast I see this getting done in crafty using
a very basic SEE.

Eval needs to understand that the mobility is going down , or the passed pawn is
dangerous , etc ,etc.
No point in trying to tune up search ofr stuff like this - you wont see the
effect of your blunders until way late.
Also , if you standpat when in check (which is preposterous) or not generating
all moves are not exactly things that can improve search quality.
