An interesting comparison of compilers.  We can see that compilers using AMD64
give Crafty between 50-100% speed improvement over x86-32.  If only those
compilers were to the level of ICC/MSVC in the first place, it might be a real
big win, but the weakness of GCC/(and especially)PGO compilers means that the
speed boost doesn't translate into that much real gain over what the best 32-bit
compilers already give.  GCC using AMD64 does, however, net a 30% increase in
speed over ICC's score.

Once we get a *good* compiler for these systems, I think Bob will finally be
proven right about the benefits of 64-bit processors for Crafty.
