ok guys, my DJ8YY engine just played two games vs a supergrand master rated
over 2700. The first game was a quick blitz game, 25 minutes long,
The second game was 60 minutes, same result, I am so very proud of my openning
book and the engines performance, over the last year and a half I have tested
the following engines vs this super grandmaster, and non have come close to this
success.
*all these engines were tested in blitz games of various lengths*
Fritz 7 - never won
Deep Fritz 7 - drawed, never won
Fritz 8 - drawed, never won
Chesstiger 15 - never won
Junior 7 - never won
Rebel 12 - never won
Hiarcs 8 - never won
Shredder 7.04 - drawed, and lost
The King 3.23 SKR (and default) - never won
Junior 8 - never won
Deep Junior 8 ZX - drawed a bunch of times, and lost
Here are the games, played on an athlon 1700xp, using 64 ram for the 25 minute
blitz, and 128 for the second 60 minute game. Both games were using my custom
openning book. I also have a very small table base, never accessed in either
game.
*****note*****, all those engines hadn't had success against this particular
super grandmaster in my own experience of testing on this computer, perhaps
against other super grandmasters they might do better on faster or equal
systems********
