I have a 1.3 Ghz centrino laptop. I reported here on CCC roughly 1 million NPS
running Ruffian. Someone else with a PIV reported that this was equivalent to a
2.4 Ghz PIV, so the salesman's assessment is in agreement. With different
applications, this rough equivalency can be expected to vary of course.
