Many of the dedicated chess computers of the past have been subjected to the
Famous BT 2630 and BT 2640 suite of chess problems and positions
in fact, these test positions were a very reliable way of determining the
relative playing strength of  any  dedicated chess computer by comparing solve
times against these lists.
i have attached below a link that contains both the test positions and the
results of many of the computers of yesteryear
the site is an Austrian site but just click on the variuos links and you will be
all set
