Try going to the winboard directory (C:\games\winboard\) and typing:

winboard -fcp ssechess -fd="c:\games\ssechess\"

Alternatively, you can add a listing for SSEChess (or any other program for that
matter) in your winboard.ini file so it will show up when you choose "Winboard
Startup Dialog" from the Start menu.  Look in the the help for Winboard on how
to do this under "Help Contents" then "Installing Chess Engines" then look at
number five in the list and its associated help files.

On a side note, the last released version of SSEChess was released on November
01, 1998, so if you don't have that you might want to download it although the
only difference is a speed improvement.
