The logical conclusion is that Fritz and other engines should be made so that they will run as 64-bit on 64 bit machines but also work 32-bit on 32-bit machines. I'm not sure how to do that, however. Maybe some of the guru programmers here can say whether or not such a thing is do-able. Bob D.
