But they are too speculative in nature - even when used in qsearch. And yes , I dont use futility - even in qsearch , nor any form of generic pruning. Other than things specific to mess in qsearch - like pruning "bad" moves in qsearch (bad = !good moves - hence most of loosing captures , underpromotions , not so good tactical moves , etc get removed).
