At least one of the engines that is supposed to be stronger engine has rating
that is 300 elo smaller in blitz inspite of using better hardware.
Information about Crafty
rating [need] win loss draw total best
Wild 2025 [6] 341 106 11 458 2204 (03-Oct-2000)
Bullet 3241 [8] 6675 1468 1088 9231 3286 (27-Dec-2002)
Blitz 2763 58632 17151 13503 89286 3388 (09-Jun-2000)
Standard 2664 5104 2627 2302 10033 2792 (25-Oct-2000)
1: Crafty v19.4 (4 cpus)
2: crafty uses all 3/4/5/6 piece endgame databases, over 150 gigs so far.
3: Dell PowerEdge 2600 dual 2.8ghz xeons, 1 GB RAM, 250+gb 15K SCSI disk
rating seems to be very unstable in ICC and the same Crafty was in the past 625
elo higher in blitz.
