Michael, I think it is unfair to judge Ed's motivations like that. Of course he needs to make money, but he has also made many contributions to the chess community. Plus Rebel Decade is a great freeware program. My take on this is that he had to make some decisions under pressure due to a changing market. The decisions negatively affected some, but he has given compensation. No sense holding on to resentments or grudges over this, if that's the case. Mark
