This results seem to be similar to what i get here.
I let my program run on a number of test postions, without evaluation, only
scoring material. With make/unmake it runs about 5800 kn/sec. on average, with
copy/make this number drops to about 4200 kn/sec.
My board struct is similar in size ~240 bytes.
When using make/unmake I do copy some expensive things like the rotated
bitboards the hashkeys, and things like castle status, moved piece, captured
piece, enpassant status etc. This is about 47 bytes.
