1) I think the reason of centrino's speed is the architecture of the processor,
this one used an improved earth of the Pentium III (and II).

2) I think there's no official plan to produce such machine. Personally, I hope
it will be possible to buy a cpu wich I can use without fan (less noise) !! :)
