Subject: what is your opinion of your program about that game

Author: Uri Blass

Date: 07:40:37 09/05/03

This game was posted in the Israeli chess forum not as pgn
names of the opponents is wrong so you can ignore it.

White won but did not choose the right move at move 19 so I decided not to post
the rest of the game.

The claim was that d4 was a good move.

part of the program likes this move but do not give white a decisive advantage
so I am not sure if it is the best.

I suspect that white got a better position mainly because of later moves.

namely Bd4 and Bg7

Note that there are programs that do not understand the position like Ruffian.

Ruffian(on P850) likes moves 12-17 even after a long search.
only at depth 17 its scores goes down and it understand that white best plan at
move 18 is not to trade queens(maybe someone can give programs more time to
search)

At the time of posting Ruffian searched for almost 2 hours.
