I recently had a chance to try my program out on an excellent computer (1.4 g centrino), I happily downloaded winboard, and copied my programs exe file across hoping to see the knps rocket. Instead, the program 'exited unexpectantly' for seemingly no reason. It did this whether I ran it from winboard, or on it's own (not that it works on it's own anyway). Is this standard? must I in fact compile the program on the win xp machine? I do use the function 'PeekNamedPipe' in my program. Could this be causing the problem? Thanks note that GNUchess ran perfectly (and fast)
