Let Me see if I understand this fully ,and ask the following questions? Isn't WS
2003 scalable to 64 bit? It should run both 32 and 64 bit Programs right? When
might a 64 bit version of WS 2003 be available for the Opteron system? Yes I'm
aware that Deep Sjeng wil be probualy beat Deep Fritz 8/Junior8,Shredder 7 out
in 64 bit. If I'm not mistaken, there exist a 64 bit version of Crafty out now.
A compiler from Microsoft will be needed to reach 64 bit thow. Until the Opteron
has a 64 bit version of WS 2003 out ,wouldn't another OS from Windows work on
the Operton system? Fill in the gaps here and please let Me know what My options
might be? >>>>Mike
