I think that both thing are important and a good improvemnt also scores better against the old version and not only against Fritz and commercial. There are also a lot of amateurs that it is going to play against them under winboard. Rebel is going to play against programs like Little Goliath,Crafty,Aristarch,Comet in the premier division of WBEC http://wbec-ridderkerk.nl/ Uri
