It's strength is similar to Chessmaster 3000 or Sargon V and the like. I think
Socrates 3.0 was stronger, but not much.
I've run some oldie software in a shuffle chess (+ classic castling) experiment,
at 60/20:00 on a PII/333 against some old chess computers which ran at 40/2h:
