There is much greater chance of mis-interpretation when only the words are read and there is no ooportunity for eye contact. One way to ensure your attempt at humor is communicated is through the use of a wink or smile. ;>) or :>) -- you may use the simplex variations of ;) or :) -- but since I have a big nose, I use the complex variation of ;>) or :>) ..... ;>) best, Michael
