The weekends in September and October are too soon to organize it, get participants, etc. November 1+2 is probably not a good idea, because it is right in the middle of a string of other major events, and so some people won't participate, and plus there is no need for CCT6 then. It's better to have it when there is nothing else going on in the computer chess world, rather than cramming all those events in a month's time, then going many months without any events.
