If I own a legal copy of Chessmaster I can modify it any way I want, as long as I do not distribute the resulting modified code. My advice to everyone here: ChessMaster is a great program. Buy it. It is a bargain. Then get deadking, so you don't have to put up with the obnxious copy protection. Robin
