By following your instructions to the letter, I was able to get Shredder 7.0.4 to run by itself. Unfortunately, Chessbase 8 does not recognize Shredder 7.0.4 and only gives Shredder 7 in the Engine Management list. As it stands, I can run Shredder 7.0.4 as a stand-alone program, but cannot get it to run as an analysis engine running under Chessbase 8. If you have any suggestions for that, please tell me what to do. Bob D.
