The job of the qsearch is to evaluate the position and not to verify that the
last ply is correct

I think that with all the resuctions and the extensions even depth often does
not mean even number of plies before qsearch.

I also tend to think that all programs play better at fixed depth 10 and not at
fixed depth 9.
