No I'm sorry, it always loses with a significant margin. Even if you play
bullet. You have to use very slow hardware and fast time controls and you will
indeed see it do "reasonably well". But on todays hardware, even at fast time
controls I would not say that Genius is still competitive.
Just try (I have tried).
Don't get me wrong: Chess Genius is still a terrific piece of software, one I
would have been extremely proud to write if only I had been able to.

On this I 100% agree. Richard must be the greatest micro chess programmer of all
times. Very close are Ed Shröder, Franz Morsch and Dan & Kathe Spracklen. Just
my opinion.
