Or, is Chessmaster 9000 incompatible with UCI? Are Chessmaster 9000 and UCI incompatible? Maybe UCI isn't all that great after all? The essence of my question is whether or not it's possible to somehow trick the Chessmaster 9000 programmers [who evidently hate Chessbase] so that it would work in spite of their best efforts? What prevents that? I don't like catagorical answers. I want the SOLUTION! No offense intended. Bob D.
