Thanks guys. My GUI is now dated Mar 5 2003 and the Shredder 7 engine works OK
with 1GB RAM now. I must confess that it was a painful process. Their directions
leave a lot to guesswork. I must have entered my software's code a dozen times
before I figured out that I had to open an account first. The process is
different from what's described in their manual, which has print so small a
Sherlock Holmes hand lens was necessary. Ah well, task accomplished, nuf said, I
guess.

For future reference, can you verify how I would reinstall the update that I
just downloaded (GUI8.iup) when I have to reinstall Shredder 7 from the CD
someday: Presumably I would copy the new GUI8.iup file into the ChessProgram8
folder then run "IUpgrade.exe". Correct?
