Just tried it, looks very nice and elegant. 3D worked also. Pure eyecandy, but
for real chess stuff IMO not very useful, at least not yet. SCID is of course
much faster, has more features and is better chess database.

Another new 3D chess program for Linux is slibo, http://slibo.sourceforge.net.
This is for KDE like Knights. You may want to try this one also, if you havent
done already.
