I think the good news is that the GUI will have a published interface so that all free programs can be adapted and imho Chessbase should offer a public interface to its GUI now as well. One commercial GUI will be on my christmas-wishlist. If only one offers an open interface the decision will be easy and Gromit will be available for it soon. Frank
