interesting, because I implemented into my chompster, and it didnt hurt tactical
at all (I dont think its a blinder at tactical beforehand anyway).

I think it has helped my chompster to always select safer moves, to choose moves
that have a tree with several alternatives to a good outcome, instead of a tree
that has only one narrow path to success.

I am interested in comparing your implementation, if I can get the ftp to work.
