Rc1+ Nxc1 35. Rxc1+ Nc4 1-0 The move 3...Nd7 is already dubious. AFAIK Philidor experts of today try to get in the Philidor with the Pirc move order 1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Nc3 e5 4.Nf3 Nd7. Hiarcs9 should not benefit from the book at all, as it is stated on the Hiarcs 9 cover. The book might be interesting only for study (although I have some doubts). Eric Hallsworth is a Computerchess expert but is he also a Chess opening expert? Michael
