     Hello to all !
if you are to test the overall skill of hiarcs9 ( I think it's the most
interesting in a first time ) , you could test it with a "neutral" opening-book
      3 are currently available : Tiger15.ctg , powerbook2003.ctg or
    opening-tree.ctg
a 4th is not in commerce , but you can easily get it from corr.database ; I
often use it but not with diversity maxi (else you could have some surprises )
Now , the key point is the increase of tactical skill vs hiarcs8 what needs
a gambit opening-book : none is commercially available , but you can get them
from the3 CD of Franco Pezzi , and Latvian gambit of J Elburg
At last one can use predefined lines of critical variations; I have my
prefences ( Bronstein gambit , Florentine gambit , or gambit line in Leningrad
Nimzo ) but you may have other choices
As soon I have Hiarcs9 I intend to follow this program especially with
junior7 which is to my advice the strongest on tatical grounds
  Friendly Yours
        Claude Le Page
