Then if approved, and an update is available, it will be offered. Apparently Guests can no longer get updates, nor determine whether one is available/unavailable. I checked their Query Update for several months as a Guest after buying Shredder 7, and it always said my software was up to date. Then someone mentioned that you must open an account, login, enter your product code, etc., whereupon it immediately offered an update. I definitely don't like their new update system, but they didn't ask me first... :) WP
