While Windows is supposed to be a 32 bit OS, is it really? It is more of a hybrid and a bad hybrid at that. In fact I would say that WIN9x was the worst OS ever sold or given away. I would say that 16 bit programs fit in better with Windows than 32 bit programs. I use WIN NT 4 whenever I can and since Fritz 5 and Junior 5 both run in WIN NT 4 I have no need to run WIN9X for those programs. As for the 2 engines in automatic play, you should see a small increase in strength of play, but nothing major. If you have both, you might as well use them. -- Komputer Korner
