Hi all,
[D]8/8/p7/P6p/1B3pk1/1P6/2b2K2/8 b - - 0 1
   Here is an interesting endgame test position for your engine. The key move is
...h4! White has just made the move Bxb4, and the natural recapture Bxb3 leads
to a long draw due to the wrong bishop. h4, however, leads to a win for black.
The actual game (Weinstein - Seirawan, Quebec, 1977) proceeded:

1... h4 2. Bd2 h3 3. Kg1 Kg3 4. Be1+ Kf3 5. Bd2 Bf5 6. b4 Bc8 7. Kh2 Ke4 8. Bc1
Bd7 9. Kg1 f3 10. Bg5 Kd3 11. Bf4 Ke2 12. Bg3 f2+ 13. Bxf2 h2+ 14. Kg2 h1=Q+ {
and white resigns in light of:} 15. Kxh1 Kxf2 16. Kh2 Bc8 17. Kh1 Bb7+ 18. Kh2
Bg2 19. b5 axb5 20. a6 b4 21. a7 b3 22. a8=Q Bxa8 *

Many engines start off with h4, but change to Bxb3... How does your favorite do?

Matt
