(1) I don't own these myself, but I'm pretty sure that J8, S7, F8, and H9 all
come with same "Fritz8" GUI. Just the engines are different. I think the
chessbase site makes that clear...

(2) The Fritz8 GUI (and Fritz7 for that matter) allows you to use UCI engines,
but not winboard engines directly. However, you could try using the wb2uci
adapter for winboard engines.

(3) Engine matches can use both (ChessBase) native and UCI engines.
