As quickly as I was getting them - they stopped - I had to get at least 400 emails in about 8 hours - almost all were this virus. http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.swen.a@mm.html Ihinking I was perhaps unique, I had made my original post. After reading the above I realised that I was not unique - MSN was just a tad slow getting their virus update installed on their servers. As suddenly I as getting them - they stopped. I think ..well at least the past hour they have stopped. This virus is really nasty - does no require user intervention or it poses as MS update and if you click no to the update - it installs silently. At the same time it kills off any anti-virus software that you may have running. Thanks for all the suggestions.
