You were lucky. About a week (maybe 2) ago, someone found my majordomo mailing list (majordomo@cis.uab.edu) and forged SPAM from that address. In one 6 hour period I got over 39,000 emails. And yes, that is the right number of zeroes. They totaled over 9 gigabytes. I learned how to use procmail to at least toss _most_ of the junk in the toilet.
